Are we coming or going? 

Is the glass half full or half empty? 

The current pandemic has many of us asking these questions. Our lives have been disrupted, our paths have been changed, and in some cases, our new normal is entirely different then our old normal. In our house we now think of buying toilet paper by the case when 12 rolls used to be the "norm". We buy meat in bulk, and go directly to the dairy for milk. Online shopping used to be the exception but is now the rule. Where are we going this weekend ? has now changed to when can we go anywhere on the weekend. Our thoughts on safety has changed; we wear masks, we use hand sanitizer, we wash our hands more then ever before, and we think twice before we handle items touched by others. 

How much of these changes will remain after the pandemic has been deemed over - we don't know. But what we do know is that we are thankful that our jobs are essential, and that we have been able to weather this storm more comfortably and securely than many others.

Forehead Thermometers

The Covid 19 Pandemic has brought about many changes in processes and procedures for manufacturers, retail establishments and so many other businesses. As your local SpotSee Distributor we have been notified of a new product that can help monitor the health and safety of your employees and customers.

The Forehead Thermometer can read a temperature in about 15 seconds, and is completely non invasive. The thermometer is produced with a sticker type back and can be purchased as a re-usable or one time use  product.

The product is cost effective as well as easy to use.

The CDC has issued guidance that essential workers should have their temperature taken before individuals enter the facility to begin work. Disposable thermometers are a cost and time-effective solution that allows you to monitor temperature throughout the day and still maintain appropriate social distance.

We are Open for Business

Crating Technology is open for business and is continuing to support our defense, aerospace and semi-conductor partners. We have taken several steps to protect our employees and customers at this time from exposure to COVID- 19.

Our COVID- 19 response includes CDC recommended guidelines including:

•   Monitoring our employees for symptoms,
•   Sanitizing our work spaces multiple times per day,
•   Stocking workstations with sanitizing products;
•    and ensuring that our workstations enable our crew to distance themselves while assembling. 
•   Our drivers received hand sanitizer for use before and after delivering products and have been encouraged to wash their hands when they return to the office.

The state of our business is very strong, and we do not anticipate any layoffs or reduction in force for our team. We value our employees and know that their many years of crating experience will assist in carrying us through this pandemic. We will continue to strive to meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining our employee’s health and safety.

We express our greatest sympathies to those that have been directly affected by this pandemic and wish all of our customers, employees and their families speedy recoveries and healthy outcomes. 

Production is in full swing, our toilet paper is stocked, and we are confident that we can continue to produce quality products to meet our customers crating and shipping demands.

Open House

The Open House was a great success - great food from Boca Taco Truck, great weather and an excellent time spent with our customers. We appreciate all the attendees and express our thanks to the customers who took the time out to come over -meet everyone, and tour the facility. If you didn't make it, give us a call we welcome you at any time.

Hence, the reason great care is used in it's transportation.

Crating 3D Art!

This was an amazing piece of 3D art created by a customer of ours. It is an incredible piece of art that needed extra attention when packaging it for travel.

Great care is always taken to protect not just the main image, but the entire piece, frame and all.

Foam is used to ensure the item does not move or shift inside the crate during its travels.

Wood slats are installed as extra measures of bracing the item inside the crate for transit.

We do not allow the wood to directly touch the art. That can scratch or damage the object should any vibration occur.

The interior of the crate is not the only focus; we also take great care in prepping the exterior of the crates as well. All shipping crates are marked with necessary stencils and wood treatment markings. 

This 3D art is just about all crated up and ready to go! One the final top piece is added, job will be complete!
